How can I maintain my PECB Certification?

PECB certified professionals, are required to continually demonstrate competence, broaden knowledge, and consequently renew their certification(s) after 1st year. Initial certificate is issued for 3 years.

Please be informed that PECB Certificates are valid for three years. To maintain a certificate, PECB Professionals are required to demonstrate that they are performing certification related activities on an annual basis. In addition to that, PECB Professionals are required to pay an Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF), $100 from 2nd Year.

Above rule does not apply to Foundation Level Certificates of PECB, as they don’t have a expiration date.
