What is difference between PECB Self Study and e-learning certification courses.

The core difference is video. Both are self-paced, but eLearning adds recorded instruction on top of what Self-Study gives you.

Self-Study

  • There’s no PECB Certified trainer in this format. You get the training materials, exercises with correction keys, and case studies, study on your own, and take the exam when ready within the year.
  • It suits learners who already know the subject fairly well and don’t need help from trainers.
  • It’s usually the cheapest route. Describes it as the most flexible and cost-effective way to get certified.

eLearning

  • It’s delivered by PECB Certified Trainers as pre-recorded videos you can watch whenever and wherever you like.
  • PECB resellers describe it as an advanced form of self-study: you get the same materials and exercises, plus the recorded trainer sessions.
  • Quizzes of 6 to 10 multiple-choice questions come between course sections.
  • You have option from SMATICA to add an optional live Q&A sessions with a authorized PECB trainer.
  • It isn’t offered for every PECB course. Video modules exist only for selected PECB certifications, if specially marked as e-learning on SMATICA.com

What’s the same in PECB Self Study and e-learning

  • Both formats are delivered through the MyPECB portal. Both include the standard course materials, organized by training day, with editable case studies and exercises where the course has them.
  • SMATICA guarantees PECB Certification and PECB exam fees are included in the course price. Every candidate gets voucher covering 2 PECB exam attempts, with the exam proctored remotely online.
